Hi there!

I was born & raised in Northern Minnesota by that BIG Lake Superior. I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Fine Arts Minor. Initially, I wanted to be a counselor. To make ends meet while looking for my college job, I worked at both Sears Portrait Studios and Walmart's Portrait studios as a manager for 3 years. After working in my degree field for nearly 15 years, I decided to try mastering photography again and trained under Julie Paisley, Nashville Wedding Photographer and Tim Cooper, National Landscape Photographer and Adobe lightroom instructor. I opened my own Studio in 2014.

I lived from 1997-2021 in Hurley, Wisconsin and raised my family there-After ending a 20 year marriage and College emptied my nest and closing my studio right before COVID, I decided to be closer to my kids and moved to Stevens Point, Wisconsin, in the very heart of the big state of Wisconsin-this move opened so many more opportunities for me-and I am proud to offer sessions here and all over the tri state region as well as travelling across the US for weddings (even Mexico and the tropics!).

2025 is my 15th year-and I am proud to be revisiting some of the wonderful families who helped me launch my full time career in 2010 this year. If you would like a session; I am booking Newborns, Families, High School Seniors, Weddings and Commercial Headshots and Events with Studio Lighting. 

A little bit about me today-I am a mom of 3 wonderful Adult Children, 1 Grandson and 2 English Bulldogs. Living in Central Wisconsin has been exhilarating-we have gorgeous parks, rolling hills, lakes and endless small town charm along with wildlife, friendly folks and some of the best restaurants, shopping, artisan and farmer markets around! I enjoy kayaking, camping, chasing sunsets and Northern Lights, traveling, decorating and Jeeps! I am so excited to do what I love and love what I do.
